This site is devoted to Japanese Sake (Nihonshu 日本酒) and is updated regularly by "The Original Sake Educator," John Gauntner, the leading non-Japanese authority on sake and the creator of this site. He has been called  "The Great Communicator" within the sake world for his uniquely concise way of conveying all aspects of sake, sake enjoyment, sake culture, sake history, and brewing technology.
